Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Digital product
The Fickle Fork is a digital subscription service. There are no physical goods and therefore no physical returns.
Purchases are processed and sold by Paddle, our authorized reseller and merchant of record.
2. Cancel anytime
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Unless a refund is approved, you will continue to have access through the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
Cancellation does not automatically create a refund.
3. Refund requests
You may submit a refund request within 14 calendar days of the applicable transaction date.
Submission of a refund request within this 14-day period does not guarantee a refund. Unless a refund is required by applicable law, Paddle may issue refunds on a discretionary, case-by-case basis in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
In reviewing a discretionary refund request, Paddle may consider factors including:
- the date of the transaction;
- the nature of the purchase;
- whether and how the service was used;
- the reason for the request;
- suspected fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative behavior;
- billing errors, duplicate charges, or accidental purchases; and
- persistent technical problems or material defects that prevent access to the service.
Paddle may approve a refund in full, approve a partial refund, or decline the request, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer withdrawal or refund rights that apply in your country.
4. Statutory withdrawal and consumer rights
Customers may have additional refund, cancellation, or withdrawal rights under the laws of their country or region.
These rights may include specific statutory periods for certain digital-content or subscription purchases. Where applicable law provides greater or non-waivable rights, those rights will apply.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights.
5. Subscription renewals
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
Refund eligibility for subscription renewals will be determined under Paddle's refund policy, applicable law, and the circumstances of the request.
Customers may still cancel an ineligible transaction or subscription to prevent future billing.
6. Lifetime purchases
Lifetime purchases are one-time digital purchases.
A refund request for a lifetime purchase may be submitted within 14 calendar days of the transaction date and will be reviewed under this policy, Paddle's refund policy, and applicable law.
7. Technical problems and product defects
Please contact The Fickle Fork first if a persistent technical issue or material product defect prevents you from accessing the service or using the features as described.
We will make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue.
If the issue cannot be resolved, you may request a refund through Paddle. Refunds involving material technical or product defects will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer-protection laws and Paddle's policies.
8. How to request a refund or manage billing
Refunds and subscription management are handled through Paddle.
You may:
- use the View receipt or Manage subscription link in your transaction confirmation email;
- use the refund or support link shown in your Paddle receipt or billing page;
- contact Paddle Buyer Support through the support links in your Paddle receipt or by visiting https://paddle.net; or
- contact us at support@theficklefork.com for assistance.
Please include:
- the email address used at checkout;
- the transaction or receipt details;
- the date of purchase; and
- a brief description of the request.
9. Effect of a refund
If a full refund is approved, access to the applicable paid product or subscription may end when the refund is processed.
Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method where possible.
10. Fraud and refund abuse
Refunds may be denied where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, chargeback abuse, or other manipulative behavior.
11. Free recipe transformations
Free recipe transformations are provided at no charge, have no cash value, and are not refundable or exchangeable.
12. Paddle terms
Because Paddle acts as the authorized reseller and merchant of record, purchases are also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.
If there is a conflict between this policy, Paddle's applicable terms, and mandatory consumer law, the terms or laws providing the customer with the highest applicable level of protection will govern.
